Fish N Spliffs: UK Roundup- November 22nd

Slowthai and Abra Cadabra headline this week’s roundup!

Here’s your weekly helping of Fish N Spliffs! It’s a bit of a shorter edition this week, but there are still plenty of new tracks from last week to appreciate!

Slowthai- nhs

Slowthai is back with another low-key and beautiful track reminding everyone that they, no matter how low on the perceived pecking order they may be, matter. Everyone has value and a purpose. Just the kind of message that a lot of us need to hear right about now.

Abra Cadabra- Show Me

Abra continues his prolific and constant year with this new track. He’s really in the running for driller of the year at this point. Looks like he has a project coming out soon as well, so we have even more Abra Cadabra to look forward to in the near future!

Megz– One Mic Freestyle

Megz switches up his style a bit and gives us a heartfelt, impressive freestyle.

Jammer- The Jerk Man

I’m new to Jammer, but I definitely get why I’ve been seeing his name all over the internet. He delivered a smooth banger with a booming bassline here, and he’s got a solid flow.

Juice Menace- Street Heir

The talented women of the drill scene always deserve some shine too! Juice Menace is another new artist to me, but I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for her in the future, no doubt.

2Smokeyy- Knock Down Ginger

2Smokeyy of Active Gxng finally gives us a solo track, and he helps us close out this truncated Fish N Spliffs with a bang! His voice and cadence demand attention. The beat is insane, with a few different vocal and string samples fighting for top bill in the beat. Active Gxng have been getting more and more traction lately, and it’s only a matter of time until they’re spoken as one of the best groups in the scene right now.
