Headie One and Burna Boy- Siberia
This has been on repeat since Headie released the deluxe version of his album Edna. In all honesty, Burna Boy steals the show here. He gives us like 5 different flows and inflections. The contrast between Headie in the snow and Burna in a tropical setting is great too.
OFB (Izzpot, Bandokay, Double Lz)- Daily Duppy
Izzpot really surprised me here, but all three OFB members have a tone of chemistry.
Dsavv- Plugged in W/Fumez The Engineer
Dsavv didn’t let his OFB brothers out-do him, and he absolutely does his best to have more than 50% of his bars censored out by Funez in this freestyle. Very on brand for the platform.
Digga D- Toxic
This is Digga at his most over the top and ridiculous. And yet, he still gives a great performance and keeps his bars tight as hell.
Abra Cadabra- Mixed Emotions
Abra gives us something smooth for Valentine’s Day, as he continues to flex his all-around talent.
Dimzy, Monkey, SJ, AK, Silent, and Dopesmoke- Danger Hill
The members of 67 prove yet again why they’re arguably the best group from the early drill scene that are still producing music.
Lil Macks- Nightmare
Lil Macks is a new artist to me, but his auto-tuned singing is really appealing. It’s smooth, and I’ll definitely be checking out whatever he does in the future.
Tzgwala, YA, and Lucii- Dunkin Donuts
The boys recently left Block6 (and were possibly kicked out?) so they took their devilish bars and started NR, or No Remorse.
